An open clump with boldly beautiful lemon yellow culms with exquisite green stripes and dark green leaves. The colour fades out of the poles when harvested. The shoots are edible and remain buttercup yellow after cooking. Tolerates minor frost. Being an open clump it will need annual thinning to maintain control over the large amount of new growth produced each year. Another preferred species for erosion control. |
